Unrestored (repainted once), dependable rider....6 Volt, Kick Start only (after 39 years she still starts first kick, 36K.....

Ohhh that is so SWEET.

My Dad's last Bike was a 1961 69 RS. Had the full gear with fairing. It was last tagged in 65. It was PERFECT. Dad would run it around the block a few times every couple of years then Fill the cylinders full of ATF and let it sit for a couple years. Then drain it run it and refill.

Mom sold it in 82 after he passed. Didn't tell me what she was going to do it either. :(

Here is a picture of it from about 1964. My Mother is in the tent. LOL
 
Congratulations on a beautiful bike--you're a fortunate man. I worked with a guy around 1970 who had one of those and a R27--he let me ride both; they were wonderful, and so smooth (I owned Yamaha 360 Enduro at the time--it was a totally different world).
