Finally weather is getting a bit warmer. Was time for a night out. Surprised to see the campground as packed as in high season....

Sorry after reading my message I was not super clear. I am wondering about options to have a full size pass through during the summer months, but blocking it off during the winter. A full size pass through and swivel seats is a really nice feature. Sort of a best of both worlds.

Yes I know I want my cake and to eat it too.

Check out the 10:04 mark of this video. He uses one of those fancy thick blinds and claims it provides significant insulation:

Was your initial cutaway the 'long' length or the 'extended' length? I believe they are both 148" wheelbase. Are you currently selling the kit, with installation by ITB in Surrey? I assume it fits on the 2021 AWD chassis?

Ours is the 148WB without frame extensions. You can certainly go through ITB for assembly and installation. Cheers

I m pretty sure you meant 156 wheelbase. For the cutaway and chassis cab, the wheelbase length are not the same as for the van, they come in 138, 156 and 178.

How are the cork floors holding up? Did you cover the entire floors i.e. behind the cabinets with it?

they are holding up great! We have a 5 year old, a dog and go out in all conditions. This means the floor is getting heavy use. So far I’m extremely pleased. We are also putting them into our prototype slide ins.
one thing I did before installing the floor: sealing all the corners along the floor to prevent any possible moisture creeping into the panels. This should not be an issue in the first place, but you never know. I then also sealed the edges between camper and cork with caulking. The cork itself is sealed with 5 layers of industrial water based pu finish.

I do not understand why everyone is not talking about this van especially with the DIY movement for Cargo Trailers, Skoolies, VanLife, etc. This 18K shell is such a great blank canvas. Very nicely done!!

Because it's not flashy... We reached out to many industry outlets in the hope of getting some coverage.... Apparently the consumer/reader expects fancy graphics and big tires to get their attention. Looks like the media is more interested in publishing fantasy renderings of new start ups with unrealistic ideas. Thank goodness this doesn't effect our sales. Our order books are full and there are several companies working on new releases based based on our campers and the ford transit chassis.
End of rant.
