The irony is doing this now as gas is cheap. But by the time it comes to market gas will be high and sales boom probably weak and they'll call it a marketing mistake.

double irony, they just killed their support of the electric truck, too.

Didn’t Ford put hundreds of millions into Rivian at the end of last year?

I miss my excursion badly. Drove one in high school and a little bit in college.

A well equipped expedition is 80k. Assuming they do a new excursion correctly, and it’s what people actually want, I’d expect it to crack 100k.
And still no manual transmission.
I’d rather a used 6.0 that doesn’t beep at me.

Yeah, sure, optioned up the wazoo, it may be $100k. But you can get an Expedition XLT 4wd for under $50k. If the Excursion equivalent is ~$60k, that’s not bad. It’s about what the original Excursions cost in today’s dollars.
