I am reworking a F-550 4WD. It's in the build section "The Dirt Lab" I plan on using 285/70/19.5's on Rickson wheels to go from my DRW setup to a SRW. I have the normal 225/70/19.5's so something has to give especially on the rear. I think that the front will work with some trimming on the flares. The rear is a different story. I will either have to cut into the floor and "tub" the existing box or do a suspension lift. Something in the 2-3" would work. Has anyone done this? I have seen references to an "air-ride" suspension for the 550's. Does anyone have info on this?
