Greetings from Russia!

I bought the last available in sales in Russia Ford E350 Ambulance 1995 with a 7.3 powerstroke for building 4wd RV.

So it turned out that before that I planned to use for building RV Ford F250 1996 with MT transmisson.
And when I wanted to switch to AT, after some research I decided to install 6-speed ALLISON (max speed with 4.1 pairs).

I thought about how to build a RV module and looked with horror to flex frame tests.

I saw an ad for the sale of the E350 ambulance and this picture and flew to buy a car. No frame flex problems!

And all my ideas regarding the installation of ALLISON passed to this car.

I bought an ALLISON 2500 RDS from Europe in perfect condition, the seller said that he bought it when the NATO base in Germany was closed, but I don’t know for sure.
This version is different from GM ALLISON. Another connection (SAE3), another control unit.

I bought an adapter plate from a T444E engine (be surprised I found it in Russia!).
I ordered the rest of the adapter parts from the USA (some adapter rings from international 4700 and some parts from GM ALLISON 4wd, Dodge)

Also have t-case NV273F where I install the input shaft from DODGE to connect with ALLISON.

Nice project. I have an Allison 1000 in the garage for my 7.3 excursion I have a t-444 adapter as well. What converter did you use? How are you going to control it?

Please say that part you mean of «converter»?
I get this parts https://www.vanderhaags.com/detailview.php?part=24857696 - adapter sae2-sae3 and adapter for torque converter.

About control - I bought Allison 2500 with original PCM. I found service company in Russia for ALLISON transmissions. They saw the version of the control unit and said they would program it. Engine data will be received via the CAN bus. I only need to do OBDII (the solution is here https://www.dieseltechchatt.com/collections/7-3/products/7-3-pcm-reflash-update-to-obdii). Excursion doesn't have this problem.
From service i get information, that allison SAE version and GM version have differents not compatible controllers.

Becouse i already have NV273F i don't want use floor shifter. It will interfere with the use of swivel seats. I want push button for control t-case.

But I not have any module and wires and need help for information how to get information from motor encoder (this scheme https://expeditionportal.com/forum/...-e350-lovell-357-or-other.132492/post-1681469).

I suppose I need to apply 12V to ENCODER_PWR and ground to ENCODER_REF, but I need confirmation from knowledgeable people.
Somebody can confirm or test this?

Definitely paying attention! This is something I would like to do to my truck when my current transmission goes bad. Would like to hear more about the transmission controller.
