Ford e series shock questions.

Before I go dropping $ on a set of shocks, I wanna make sure I'm buying the right thing.

I'm looking at bilstein hd's.

My 2006 ford e150 from what I gather should take a

24-184816 up front

And a

33-017204 in the rear.

My question is this, I'm putting 3/4 ton springs up front (moog cc81368) to take away the mushy ride. Should I also be putting e250 front shocks on? They list them as a completely different number.

thanks for the help

I am not certain but I think the 3/4 ton springs may lift the van a bit hence you may want to get the 3/4 ton shocks as well considering they will be spec'd for the new height, if there is a change in height.

I put the Bilstein listed for E350 and they fit right. 33-187563 and 33-176840. I like them a lot and I was not replacing old shock, but 1 y.o. Monroe.

Springs are CC880 and HD 4 leaves in the rear for a 2000 e150.

Cc880 are a bit much I think on a 1/2 ton. I just wanted to firm up the ride and get a little lift.

I'll go with 3/4 shocks front and rear.

went with the above shock part numbers, stoked they're zinc plated and not yellow.

got a pretty ripper of a deal on em at http://www.ajusa.com/browse/brand/Bilstein cheaper there than all my wholesale accounts were, even after i pay tax and shipping.
