Ford Chinook Diesel Swap

Looks great! I would love more details. I recently bought a 2000 Chinook Premier with 200k miles. It runs great right right now. I basically finished fixing all the systems, and I am going to use it for a year before any major changes. If we decide to keep it, I really want 4x4. My ideal would be to swap it to a new e450 4x4, but in reality it probably won't happen.

Next time try the tree method. This was from a complete body swap on a 4x4 van. Used a chain hoist on the rear body mount bolts. Then the tractor on the front. Just rolled the 4wd drive frame in place of the 2wd frame and bolted her back down.

Great job, nicely excuted in the "backyard".. I am sure had that dreaded feeling with the snow delay that it would never come together. We're you able to deal with (remove) the extra wiring from the ambo setup?

I love Econoline 7.3 powerstrokes. Have used several for camping builds. All a lot, I would say to much work but fun.

Your way or swapping the engine seems to be the most direct way to go.

Good luck, johan
