For sale: 1991 Mitsubishi Fuso Rosa Bus / Camper | 4x4 | $15k OBO | WA state

FOR SALE: 1991 Mitsubishi Fuso Rosa

Location: Burlington, WA (~1 hr north of Seattle)

Description:

Hi everyone,

Up for sale is an extremely unique bus that I bought a couple of years ago with the intention of converting it into a camper. Unfortunately, covid and life happened, I haven't had any time and I've come to the realization that it needs to go to a better home. Selling for $15k OBO, this is what I bought it for, not trying to flip it or make a profit.

It has been mostly sitting in storage. I do go over there once in a while to make sure everything is running well and to take it for a short drive.

Happy to answer any questions you may have!

Some more pics:

Video walk-through:

There is only one other bus like this in north america (that we're aware of). Here's the other bus listing for reference, as they have amazing and very detailed pictures:

If you're thinking of converting it into a camper, here's a rad setup from a couple in Australia:

Price: $15,000 OBO

Some more info on common questions I've gotten during the last few days:

=======
The bad
=======
1) There's a short in the electrical system somewhere, if I leave it overnight it will drain the batteries. I've been unplugging one of the battery terminals as a temporary solution

2) Tires are starting to dry rot and I think they will need to be replaced

3) It's been sitting in storage for a few years now.
I would recommend getting it towed to you and brought up-to-date by a qualified mechanic (or if you have the time + knowledge to do this yourself). Would not trust it to drive all the way home right away, it might, but, do you want to take the chance?
The platform is the same as the Fuso line of trucks. I called a Mitsubishi dealership and they were happy to take it in for service.
It probably needs all fluids replaced, brakes checked, etc.
This is not a clean and built-out Sprinter that is ready to go. It's a project, but one that should be really rewarding for someone willing to put the effort into it!
