While wandering the internet the other day, I bumped into a new forum - the Flippac Owners Group.

Looks like they're just getting started but with more participation, it could take off. Just passing it along

I saw it in Sept. and joined , but there isn't much happen there . Need more people on . Also back then there were a bunch of people just advertising porn ,online drugs and stuff , lots from out of country . Look at the members and half have websites selling stuff that doesn't have anything to do with flippacs or camping or adventure ,etc. I sent a message to the administrators back then and looks like they got most of it cleaned-up . Still nobody on there . At least it looks like most post have to do with flippacs . Does look like they are just getting started because July 2011 is when the first member is listed as a administrator . Would be cool if it gets better .:)

Hello! My name is Lucas and recently I bought a flippac shell for my ford ranger truck. I am planning to travell all the way down to Argentina but first I have to put it on shape. When I bought it the owner didnt have the arms and all the devices that come with them (I think he might sell them) so now I have to see the way to fix it because all the originals parts are imposible to find. Any ideas? The tricky part is the connection to the hood because the rest parts I can find them on a boating store. Send you a pic.

Did you ever have any luck finding the hood/fender attachment points? Those are the only parts I need!

Hey guys! I have a fixer upper Flippac that needs a full replacement of the torsion bar, tent frame, and tent canvas.

I'll get a Sway-Away torsion bar, and I think I can get a SLO Canvas rain fly and sew it on to the bit of fabric that's left in place.

I've still got all the plastic hinge points for the tent frame in place, but figuring out the tent frame is a little tricky, though, since it doesn't appear to be a standard size for a bimini top.

Can any of you point me to replacement tent frame parts, and/or send some measurements of the (3?) arms of the tent frame?

Thanks!
Dave
