Toyota Reportedly Halts Electric Crown And FJ Cruiser Revival
A new report alleges that Toyota is rethinking its EV plans, putting some models on hold while considering the company's next steps.

According to a Reuters story out earlier this week, Toyota has hit the pause button in order to completely rethink its plans to develop new EV models, and so it has decided to halt the production of some of its earlier touted EV models.
According to this report, Toyota announced that development has been suspended on these EV’s: the Crown, its Compact Cruiser crossover and sadly the revival of the FJ Cruiser. Toyota seems to be taking this strategic break to completely reset its EV plans. It isn’t clear yet if we’ll see the Jeep Wrangler 4xe challenging EV FJ come back into the planning process.
