I have a Toyota Tacoma 2.7 FI 2004, is there an easy way to reset the check engine light? Do I have to disconnect the battery every time?

Buy a Toyota specific iCarsoft fault reader from Amazon. Keep it in the truck and clear codes to your hearts desire

The easy way is to fix whatever is causing the check engine light.

Get an OBD2 bluetooth adaptor and download the app Torque Pro on your phone. It will not only reset the code, but it will help you diagnose the problem.
