Feedback on Rigid 20641 back up lights............... Results update.

There is a thread on here about the ignite series lights. Someone mounted them on their rack for camp site. Do a search here for rigid ignite.

Same basic package. They just change the front bezel so that it can be surfaced mounted. The Ignite series uses the same cube but change the lens and reflector according to application.

The Back Up series has the same specs as the Flood Diffused series. 9 Lux @10 meters with a 58.5 degree beam width angle.

Compare the specs about half way down the page on each link. I think you will find very good results with these.

I have a pair of the larger D2 Duallys in flood pattern mounted in the rear bumper of my Tundra. They are nice but don't throw as much usable light as I expected them to. They allow a clean installation, but I prefer the performance of the Hella halogens on my Dodge. Depending on where you mount them, you might need to play with shims to move the pattern around.

The rigid lights.

Drilling the bumper

Testing the fit.

Had to improvise to make them fit

Clean look.

Connected the wires to the existing back ups.

After dark testing

Results before OEM back ups after rigid back ups.

As you can see the OEM lights where pretty much useless! Very happy with the results.
Cheers
