I know, it doesn't list mileage or clean title, I've already emailed, but I'm already familiar with the few downfalls of this powerplant from upgrading my buddy's Dually in the past, and it's a good engine.

Being a 97, it's got the cooling system updates. Maybe I'm daydreaming, but something about 20mpg and a 31 gallon tank are talking to me. I don't need 4wd, I've got a hitch carrier and this guy where I go:

Being that it appears to be sold at a junkyard it worries me but there are always deals out there from unsuspecting places.

I had a 86 6.5TD in a crew cab 4x4 p/u. It was great but would say your mileage woud be in the teens.

Edit: I meant 98 6.5TD

They emailed me back this morning, 246k miles, rust on the rockers, new brakes all around, and runs like a top.

The 6.5 turbo's get a lot better than your 6.2. I'm aware that its no 7.3 or 5.9 cummins, but its a good motor.

That being said, I'm not sure I wanna gamble MY money on a 250k variant of unknown history. Even if I got it for $2000.
