Not overlanding, but I managed to recover enough of our footage from a Europe trip a few years back to put together a fresh video. Mostly done to remind my kiddo that travel will happen again... someday.
Come along as we leave Goose behind and hike the back way up to Machu Picchu with friends. We find a doggy escort and finally make it to these beautiful mountain top ruins. Where we brave the crowds, and the llamas, to explore this beautiful Inca Ruin. We hope you enjoy the scenery as much as we did.
We head towards the Amazon and Brazil's BR-319. Goose gets cleaned for the first time since Panama, we stay at a military base in Rio Branco, and then decide to head towards Bolivia where we encounter a difficult border crossing.
We made it to 100! Thank you all for your support! We climb into the crazy city of La Paz, where we remember we don't really like big cities, so we head for the shores of Lake Titicaca. Where we get the chance to slow down, relax, take a day trip to Copacabana, and make some popcorn.
In this episode we continue exploring Bolivia as we leave lake Titicaca and head to Cochabamba, where we meet back up with Tim and Shannon from Planet Overland. We all run across a little train museum on our way to some hot springs, and it has some surprisingly big history behind it.
