I admit it isn't the best expo 80 out there but I made the effort to make it as good offroad as I can while still being able to go off into the back country for days.

The tires are all but bullet proof so i'm not to worried about shredding one but I do carry a spare. The 3FE is the most rock solid land cruiser motor ever and I carry lots of birfs and other spares if I need to use them.

Very nice... I'd love to see so e photos of the overhead display for the sub-fuel tank, and the DVD head-rest monitors.

Thanks. Here you go.

Sub fuel tank overhead display.
IMG_00000113.jpg

Here's the dual tank fuel filler. Pull the knob to fill the sub tank.
IMG_00000116.jpg

And here's the headrest monitors. The DVD player rests at the bottom of the center console facing the backseats.
IMG_00000119.jpg

Thanks! I have a Long-Ranger/Man-a-fre secondary tank which uses the same OEM filler setup. But my gauge is a simpler LED and I like your setup better. The altimeter is also an interesting option, although I have an aircraft altimeter in my 80.

The DVD screens look nice too. I'll have to think about more DVD time for the kid is a good idea or not. :)

Thanks again for posting the photos.

You're welcome. When I was searching for an 80, gas tank capacity and range was something I was concerned with. If I hadn't found this one one I probably would've gone the same route you did.

As for the altimeter I typically rely on my own, internal one - if the trail goes up I'm going higher in elevation and if the trail goes down I'm going down in elevation :). This is probably also why my GPS unit never makes it into the truck on road trips but the maps do.
