Expedition One Rear Bumper

Hey Group!

I wanted to provide an update for everyone on here. Yes if anyone has a latch causing issues we will warranty and replace parts; as the redesign has solved this. Please email info@expeditionone.biz

For those curious why we prefer to do things by email it is because it is the easiest way to make sure we are tracking our communication with our customers and to ensure timely and proper customer service.
We are happy to answer the questions here as well as they come up!

Powdercoating: We do offer our bumpers in BARE metal and it is always an option to have them locally powder-coated, or even paint matched after the fact. For those that choose to powdercoat with us, we have made improvements and upgraded our coat as well as our quality control. We appreciate all the feedback, and understanding as we grow and improve our products and processes as a small business.

To address the sensors: While we do engineer our products to work with the parking sensors, we cannot guarantee they will work perfectly as making any aftermarket change can alter/affect the functionality of OEM equipment. It is one of the trade-offs of having a large dual swing bumper to be used in off-road and overland expeditions. That being said, the 19+ Ram's have significantly improved sensors (thank you RAM/FCA) and this has lead to increased compatibility and little to no reported feedback errors from the sensors. Sensor technology has evolved over the years and the auto manufacturer made the improvements in 2019+ model years. Same with the Jeep JL. The previous model years have finnicky sensors that if they are not installed/oriented in a certain position it could cause feedback errors from the sensors, especially when running a large spare tire.

Happy Holidays,

Expedition One Team
