One of our Neighbors is currently rowing across the atlantic from Senegal to Miami!

My understanding is that during an ocean crossing these self-righting boats might be rolled many times and sometimes even pitch-poled, rolled end for end.

The Ocean Rowing Society has boats for sale, some are marine plywood/epoxy fiberglass construction.
