Seems cool if it works. The harshness of 30 miles of Death Valley washboard combined with the ride quality that can only be delivered by four leafs on solid axles would seem to conspire to allow movement between surfaces otherwise solidly held by friction.

Heck I like the idea for fastening down inside storage for easy access. Did I miss what about locking so they just can't be carried off? Anyone see costs?

If I remember correctly, this is the same system Adventure Trailers uses to mount their propane tank on the JK hardtop. They could probably get you pricing and more info.
