Yeah, I think I will be sticking with these, even for work.
I am going to have to get more at this $18 price since they are on sale.

I wish someone else would try these too that may have tried the ExOfficial ones so they can compare them and see what they think is the best between the two.
I have a feeling these would win, Duluth has great clothing and listens to their customers.

X2 on the comparison.
I have been using the ex-officio - picked them on when they are on sale. Almost two years now. Comfy and dry fast (so great for desert travel)....

I have several pairs of both the Ex Officio Give and Go and the Duluth boxers. The Ex Officio looks and feels like a higher quality boxer. It feels smoother and lighter. I don't think that it IS lighter, but it feels slightly less bulky. The EO is $25 and I have an issue with paying $25 for underwear. But it occasionally goes on sale for around $18 and I buy another pair and will continue to buy them as well.

Bottom line for me is: If they are the same price I'll take the EO over the Duluth. But I have no problem with the quality of the Duluth.

I get asked a lot at work about the Firehose work pants.
Wash after wash they refuse to fade or get thin like jeans in the past that I have worn.

The best thing is the nice extra pockets.
Room for my work cell phone, Surefire GX2 light, and a lot more.
And they never feel bulky with stuff in the cargo pockets.

Wanted to post up my thoughts - Xmas sale @ Duluth Trading. Figure it would be a good opportunity to pick up a couple of their Coolplus FOM shirts.
From their initial email sale = none in stock in any size or color. What type of sale is that.
Couple of emails back/forth with customer service. Basic response not in stock - tough luck. Seasonal item might have it next season/year but not sure.
Certainly doesn't inspire confidence or any effort to make it right for the customer.

End of rant...

Ordered my fire hose pants tonight and with all the fantastic reads that there are here I just couldn't wait.
Bought a pair of waterproof insulated winter gloves a few weeks ago. As soon as I opened the bag that they were in I knew that there was somthing wrong. The smell was more than I could stand. They had a really REALLY bad smell to them. Called them up and they are sending me another pair No questions asked and with hopes that these are in better condition than the last. By the end of the week we should all know how this will turn out.

I noticed they are out of alot of common sizes. I wonder if they are having growing pains. I say this, because, I have seen tv commericals for them on History / Discovery channels.

I wonder if demand is outpacing the supply.

I do plan on ordering some spring and summer stuff, after the 1st of the year.
