Discontinued Parts

anyone have any recommendations for finding AWR3287, a foam insulation piece found underneath the console for a D1 manual gearbox? Mine is missing and the usual sources (Rovers North) say it is discontinued. If I had a remnant from an old one as a template, I could fashion one out of heat reflective insulation but wanted to tap the collective knowledge base here for ideas or recommendations

I show part # AWR3287 has been superseded to part # BTR8331. Maybe try that one ???

Land Rover Parts International Shows both in stock. If it defaults to in-stock it might automatically send you the supersede PN as SMKsignals stated. Send them an email and you will get a fairly rapid response. I had to order a few parts from here that are hard to come by for my LR3. They source the parts globally to your closest location. Some of my stuff came from NY and a few parts from UK direct.

Hope this helps. Personally I would use the newer insulated aluminum like you stated though. Cheaper and probably much better than that generational part.
