Pics are worth 1000 words so I'll start with this.
I picked this up for $275 after looking for months for a good start to an adventure trailer. It's a late Datsun 320 box that's in ok shape, and I felt bad molesting it so I put feelers out into the local datsun nerd community but nobody wanted it bad enough to drop 3 bones so now I don't have to feel bad about cutting it up.

My goal here is to try to keep it as stupid and simple (and light) as possible. I have hit that point of glamping where I can pack my jeep to the limit with all my gear and want a base camp trailer that can hold the majority of my camping gear.

Initial plans are to replace the axle with a dexter that matches the width and bolt pattern of the jeep to run a single spare (jeep is now on jk rubicon take-offs). I love the idea of adding solar and some water storage with a pump but it might not be priority one.

The trailer is all a home built 3x3" angle frame, which is great for weight (I can pick the tires off the ground easy unloaded) but has very little tongue weight. I'm putting some jacks in the rear and have a horrible harbor freight wheeled tongue jack on it now.

I'll update as modifications come but a lot might not happen until this spring
