So this happened while on the DBBB I still haven’t been able to find another knuckle. So I’m starting to think I might have to go ahead and swap to tons.

This is the day I broke the knuckle

I got the knuckle off today amongst the many other things that needed to be done. It appears there was more damage to that knuckle than just the crack at the lower ball joint. First if you look at the steering arm it appears to be bent downward, the steering stop is a bit mangled, and it almost looks like the lower portion that cracked is also bent downward. That’s coincides with everywhere the paint has popped off.

Changed out the steering box for a tighter junkyard box this was the shake down run.

Went out and did a little running around in 5 degree weather to enjoy a snow day.

They reintroduced them a while back and now there’s a breeding population. Enough so we now have a a season on them but it’s by draw only.
