We head to California on a road trip in the 911. We celebrate Kelsey's birthday, see friends, family visit the Peterson Auto Museum, and try to get our Bolivian Visa's approved.

Why did the one village have so many land cruisers ? Were the ruins in Tikal Aztec or Mayan?
That town was Barillas. Not sure why there are so many, but I think they're just hard on trucks up there in the mountains and the town seems to have an almost religious belief in Cruisers.
Tikal and the other ruins we visited are the earlier Mayan civilization. Pyramids are everywhere once you start traveling through the jungle. What looks like hills around you are often their structures.

Tim has two days to recover before we pack our bags and head for Washington and the Northwest Overland Rally. After that we convoy with friends to the B.C. Overland Rally. We have a blast doing some rafting, and camping our way between rallies.

Has this covid 19 affected your trip?
It's a long story, but we're in the USA and staying at a family members place in San Clemente, CA. The ferry, bus, uber and three flights to get back were interesting, but so far we don't seem to have picked up anything more than a sinus cold. Hanging out and working on videos for the next couples weeks, but we'll see how this all goes.
