Differences in M416 Hubs

I had no idea there was a difference in M416 hubs. A good friend gave me an M416 axle with wheels and rebuilt hubs (he decided on a custom axle) for my 416 build, first thing I noticed was the wheels were a little different and the used "regular" lug nuts as opposed to the flat base on mine. His 416 I guess is a Marine version it has the frame "hooks" supposedly to be parachuted out of a plane but other than those,it looks just like any other 416. The hub diameter on those hubs are 4.25 in on mine its 4", the lug bolts are shorter but the bolt pattern is the same. My dilemma was I was gonna use his wheels which is fine and one of my original as a spare, however my wheels wont fit over the hub bore and with the shorter lug bolts not really enough threads.

My solution was for now to use the green hubs along with the rim (no tire mounted) and use mine as a spare. So I believe there's a lip that if I was take off would give me the 4.25" i need to fit over the hub and carry the flat lug nuts or else use the cone shaped backwards so the flat side is against the wheel although i'm sure thats probaby not recommended.
