After a lot of anticipation here on the EP forums and elsewhere we are pleased to announce that we have finished manufacturing our first round of product for Tacoma-size trucks! Full bed length storage drawers for organizing, securing and keeping out of the elements all of your travel gear, tools and whatnot. DECKED is pleased to announce that its highly requested storage and organization system for midsize trucks is now available. After two years of engineering and manufacturing preparation, DECKED is now offered for trucks like Tacoma, Colorado, Canyon and Frontier in North America as well as a wide variety of fitments for foreign vehicles like Hi-Lux, Amarok, Navara and Ranger in the international market.

DECKED for midsize trucks features the same 2000lb system payload, 200lb load capacity per drawer and overall system weight of ~210lbs as full-sized vehicle versions. The new midsize DECKED system is similarly constructed using injection molded HDPE with a galvanized steel sub-frame in-molded for strength and rigidity. Like all DECKED systems, this product is engineered in Detroit and made in the USA.

The midsize product comes with numerous improvements over the existing full-sized product with weatherproof ammo can storage bins and other enhanced weatherproofing features. DECKED for midsize also features a “detent stop” on drawers which keeps drawers open on inclines.

“We couldn’t be happier or more excited with this new product which has truly given us a chance to iterate and push the envelope on our engineering, design and manufacturing capabilities. I've got some questions I had posted on another DECKED thread:
Questions:
- For a 5' bed Tacoma, does the deck fit nose to tail or are then any gaps?
- Is drilling required, or do the J hooks use the factory tie downs (specifically for the 5' Taco)?
- Are there tie down points on top of the deck, or would one have to use bed rail tie downs to secure gear on the deck?

Questions:
- For a 5' bed Tacoma, does the deck fit nose to tail or are then any gaps? The system comes to the end of the composite/edge of the metal of your bed. It's flush to the cab side bulkhead of the bed
- Is drilling required, or do the J hooks use the factory tie downs (specifically for the 5' Taco)? You you will need to drill three holes on each side of the bed at the cabside end. And you will drill one hole on each side of the tailgate end. Super simple
- Are there tie down points on top of the deck, or would one have to use bed rail tie downs to secure gear on the deck? You would need to add our core-trax tie downs or another product (Core makes several that work). The deck itself has 6-8 steel tubes which run perpendicular to the bed and you can bolt/screw just about anything to them for cargo retention

Hey one more thing: we do not have the proper core-trax tie downs for the midsize systems yet. Should be able to get them in the coming month or so. If you didn't want to wait you could go directly to Core and find something which would work I am certain

I'm long overdue in weighing in here but I installed a set in my Colorado last Thursday. I'll add some pics and first impressions here shortly!

I will say that I've found the drawers to hold a lot more than I anticipated. My stuff seems to nestle in there nicely, even in the small drawer. Most of my tools are in soft rolls so they pack well on the drivers side. Truthfully, I expected to completely fill them but each is probably not even half full. Ammo cans are nearly empty aside from a few bungees and straps. Granted, that will change on the next multi-day trip but for day trips I've got space to spare. I also like having my tools and recovery gear in the truck all the time so I don't have to load/unload bins for each trip.

Not that we didn't expect a top notch offering from you guys.... but you have delivered!
