Day Trip in Nine Mile Canyon

Tour Guide
My wife was out of town so I took the kidos she left with me and we visited some of the ancient sites. We had a great time and are looking forward to returning soon. The highest point on the now paved road showed 7465 on my GPS. The pictures are not bad but not the greatest, because I was using an Olympus point and shoot digital while our good cannon is gone with mom. Hopefully you get the idea.

I got a couple shots of graineries. However one is really bad, but you can see a partially walled in cave in the center, the other is to the right. I wish I had had the better camera.

I teach 4th grade and have taken as many as 77 students out there at one time. I do a pretty good field trip if your interested. A good book to read is Split Sky by Tom McCourt. It is about a summer he spent there working on a cattle ranch. It is a great read. Also Horned Snakes and Axle Grease by Jerry and Donna Spangler is really good.

I would love to go through 9 Mile with you as a guide. We could easily put together a small group from Park City to meet you down there. When would be a good time for you?
