Expedition Leader
SOLD
I have a new project that I need the funds for, so this is going up for sale. Hand built, by me.
48" x 48" box, fit small action packers two high, by two or three wide
Locking aluminum plated lid, whit gas strut to hold open. Bulb seal keeps it water tight.
Tail gate is stainless steel, great cooking surface.
3500lb axle, 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern. Very soft leaf springs, rides very nicely.
Baltic birch ply for the sides and bottom. Sealed with enamel paint and polyurethane caulking on the exterior.
Tongue has aluminum diamond plate on it. Two gas/water can holders, one 5lb propane tank bracket.
Has receiver hitch on tongue, ready for any off road hitch.
Max trax holder on the passenger side. Lockable.
LED tails, mud flaps.
I built it as light as possible to not weigh my truck down any more, but still strong enough to carry whats needed. Its 530lbs empty.
Its sealed very well, no dust, no water issues. I built it exactly how I wanted it, no shortcuts taken. But its time to move on.
Build thread is here with pictures of every detail. http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/124864-Java-s-Mini-Trailer
