A friend of mine built this trailer a few years ago for himself. He did an amazing job with the build. He decided to go a different route so I have had the trailer for a couple of years now. The trailer is the epitome of simplicity. No pull outs, no galley, no fancy gadgets. That is why I liked it, there are less things to go wrong and give you problems in the back country. I like a sort of minimalist style of car camping so it works great for me. The only reason I am selling is size. I am 6'4" and 205lbs. It is great by myself but when my wife comes with it gets a little bit cramped.
The trailer is all steel frame construction with 1" foam insulation in the walls and ceiling. It has a 12v battery that powers interior and exterior LED lights. There are 12v and USB charging ports inside and an inverter in the tongue box. The sleeping area is 44" x 84". There is a shelf inside to store gear and the mattress is sectioned into three pieces to be able to stack it in the back to make room for storage while travelling. There is also an 8' ARB awning and a roof rack. Most of the photos will show anything else I am forgetting. The suspension consists of a 3500lb trailer axle and 200olb trailer springs. I know it isn't a fancy trailing arm suspension, but it doesn't matter, it still rides great offroad. I have traveled with trailers that have trailing arms and I watch them bounce just the same. The wheels are from a JKU with a 5x5 bolt pattern as this trailer was originally built to pull behind a JKU. The tires are 285/75/16 Corsa All Terrains with 95% trad life. The trailer needs nothing and is in excellent condition.
The thing about this trailer is the simplicity and no set up. You can have camped all set in 1 minute if need to. Literally park and jump in to sleep.
