***OFFICIALLY OFF THE MARKET***

Thanks for all of your interest. We have decided to keep this rig and take it south this winter. There just isn't much out there that can compete with the versatility of this set-up for us (under $300k) and we have decided to enjoy it for at least one more season.

Thanks again
Kurt

Custom 4WD “Adventure Camper” - Ford F550 + Bigfoot

This vehicle set-up has appeared in several magazine articles including RV Magazine and 8-Lug magazine. It is a great combination that gets a LOT of attention wherever we go. A very capable and comfortable rig for its size. This was built up as our “affordable Earthroamer” concept, with the added benefit of having the versatility of having a full size pick-up truck with an easily removable slide-in truck camper.

2006 Ford F550 Crew Cab, Lariat, 4WD with factory bed conversion by Monroe.

LOW MILES (93k) WITH COMPLETE BULLET PROOF DIESEL KIT

*** 6.0L Diesel motor with BULLET PROOF DIESEL kit including new engine oil system, extra bypass filter, BPD EGR Cooler, engine oil cooler as well as remanufactured heads. This kit was installed at Bullet Proof Diesel in Mesa, AZ last April and the truck has run flawlessly ever since. This system costs $8,000 to install and is worth EVERY PENNY.

FACTORY EQUIPMENT
• Lariat model with power everything, heated leather seats, cruise control, etc
• 19.5” Alcoa wheels with a set of 245 street tires and a set of 225 studded Toyo traction tires for winter.
• Manual 4WD with locking hubs – allows you to lock out front axle when not in use. Much more reliable than auto 4WD systems and allows for better fuel mileage.
• Great turning radius – much better than a standard F350 dually.
• 4.30 rear end
• Sliding rear window

CUSTOM EQUIPMENT
• Monroe factory bed conversion
• Transfer-flow mid-ship 50 gallon tank with electronic automatic controller – total 90 gallon capacity
• Eaton e-locker front differential
• MBDR turbo-back exhaust
• SCT tuner with digital display – allows you to monitor all of the vital temps at once. Truck has only been ran on the lowest tune since this was installed.
• K&N hi flow air filter
• Line-X lining in bed, lower rocker panel and dually fenders
• Fab Four bumper
• WARN 16.5ti winch
• Lightforce 170 HID lights (3)
• Rigid Industries 40” LED light bar
• Two Rigid Industries 4” LED lights wired to reverse lights
• Bushwacker front flares (also treated with Line-X)
• 5th wheel gooseneck hitch
• monster Reese 2-1/2” trailer hitch
• Sponsor decals above lower rocker panel.
• Camper tie downs for stable lift and standard turn buckle tie downs.

2000 Bigfoot 3000 camper
This camper has seen very little use and is in very good condition. The generator has VERY lower hours on it and was recently serviced.

Features include:
• Stable Lift system – allows the camper to be loaded and unloaded in MINUTES, which enables us to use the camper much more often. Secure the camper to the truck by lifting the framework to the bottom of the truck. No turnbuckles required. Also allows you to use camper when off the truck. Very stable unlike corner jacks. This system retails costs $3000 plus installation. It was installed at the Stable Lift facility in Montana two years ago. Powder coated black.
• Built in propane generator
• Dry Bath
• Two – 20 lb propane tanks
• Microwave
• Awning
• Heated Basement
• Large main bed with lots of overhead clearance
• TONS of storage
• Central heat system
• Day / Night shades
• Rooftop Air Conditioner
• Upgraded 5 step stairs (replaced stock 4 step)
• True 4-season camper – very well insulated.
• Everything works as it should.

Ultimate truck camper set-up - comfort, capability and flexibility. Still available.

The photos really don't do this rig justice. We get a LOT of attention wherever we go.

Thanks for the compliment. The F550 handles the Bigfoot camper great. It is a monster camper and does much better on a monster truck. The turning radius on the F550 is actually tighter than the F350, plus it handles better with the 19.5" wheels. Very manageable to drive to say the least with TONS of room in the camper. My wife loves this set-up and drives it often.

NOW ASKING $42,000.

Wow, this economy sucks.

Cool.

Be sure to check out http://www.bulletproofdiesel.com/

This truck has the following Bullet Proof Diesel components installed by them at their factory in AZ:

Engine Oil Filter System
EGR Cooler
Additional Engine Oil Bypass Filtration System
Engine Oil Cooler
Remanufactured heads
ARP stud bolts

About $9000 installed but makes the truck "bullet proof". It has run flawless ever since. I honestly would not consider buying a 6.0L motor without these components, or would plan to install them once the vehicle was purchased $$$

a bit more info...

Hi,

I'm making a trip up to ID in 2 weeks to raft the Salmon (if the whole River of No Return wilderness hasn't burnt up by then). I'd like to see your unit if it's still available.

Let me know.

why are there 3 jack points/motors?

That is the StableLift more deluxe lift. Given the perimeter frame is uses, three lifts provide more possible articulation of the camper to get it level. The system works great as you can use the camper when it is off the truck, unlike the 4 corner jack system. It can also be used to level the camper when parked in the back of the truck. Sometimes less hassle than trying to level the truck itself.
