Cooler / Spare tire carrier

Just started designing a cooler / spare tire carrier for the rear bumper. The posts about failing single shear pivots is leaning me to a double shear with bronze bushings.

Oh going on my FJ60 and FJ40.

check out 4+ bumpers their rear bumpers are a double swing design and they use the brass bushings as well.

Yea the double swing is two times the parts. What is the name of the place? 4+ bumpers.

I like the design, what cooler box do you use? I've been using 4x4Labs rear bumper for the last 5 years and a lot of abuse and they are still hanging in there well. I stand on the tire frequently to get to the RTT with no issues. Stout.

Tire / cooler carrier.

4plus products are nice, I have 4 to build so were going to build them ourselves. So far I like the Pelican cooler, lifetime warrantee. The little boxes under the cooler are water / gas cans.
