Cool Rover in my neighborhood

I posted this in the 'Spotted' thread, but I figured I'd post it up in here too. I spotted this rig parked on the street about 1/4 mile from my house. Never seen it in the neighborhood before, and I'm not a Land Rover guy, but looks pretty sweet! What model is this?

I think that's been posted on here before somewhere, it was for sale in CA

its an older rally preped landy I seem to remember it had an uprated motor suspension etc

ie the engine shut off and extinguisher controls outside the engine bay.

to me its an 88, but other experts I'm sure will chime in

Bitsa? I am no expert but here is what I see. I cannot tell if it has leaf springs or not. It looks like the body, and probably the frame, has been stretched (maybe to 100"?). The top looks like a full top Series that has been cut down to the pickup top. Windscreen is probably a 90, I have heard people like to put 90 windscreens, door tops and tops on them as it gives extra head room.
