I picked up a new in box 1/77 413g yesterday, complete with paperwork. Box was not mint, but I bought it to use . I paid $65. And yes I know you can trash pick these, i had three free offers that I turned down. I didn’t want a new modern one, and I didn’t want a project. I’m happy :)
Spent 20 minutes putting mink oil on the still supple plunger, cleaned the dust out of the tank and fired her up.

I still haven't found a 500 that I could justify the $$ on, but I have acquired a couple more items. I'm up to a 220F, 288, 425, 413G..........The 220F lantern tries to burn the garage down every time I test fire it, but everything else is running great.

Not the best picture of my 413 non letter but it's the only one I have right now. This was from my company camping trip over the summer. Worked great making 2-3 meals/sides a day for a week for 15-20 employees.

I'm tired of carrying my stoves in the back seat and usually travel too light for a full on chuckbox, not to mention getting one out from under my low profile bed rack would be a pain. I scored a really nice sheet of 3/8" plywood, from a shipping crate that showed up at work, so I'm looking for some inspiration for a carrying case. Does anyone have something similar?

We have a coleman grill/stove, a coleman single stove, 2 lanterns, 3 sleeping bags and other dodads in one of the camping totes, and a coleman powerchill cooler

I love Coleman stuff. One of my prized pieces of camping gear is a mid-1970s Coleman 426B 3-burner with a matching cast iron griddle I got from a river outfitter who was clearing out his stuff. I think I gave him $20 for it. Love is enjoying sunrise with a cup of coffee, making breakfast burritos or pancakes on it watching the run rise in the desert.

If that is a 426B it is older than you think. The 426B's were made from 1954 to 1962.

It's kinda funny, after reading this thread the other day I decided that I needed to track down an old Coleman stove. The very next day I found an old 425H that looks brand new for $40! It looks brand new, the right burner has maybe been lit once and the left one looks like it has never been lit! It's gonna get lots of use this summer. I'll post a pic or 2 in a bit.
