Cobra 18wx went deaf WTH??

So I mounted a cobra 18wx in my wrangler for two reasons: WX band and front firing speaker. It worked fine for a few months and then all of a sudden, ZERO CB reception. Transmit is fine as well of reception of the WX Band.

Anyone else experience this? I thought I had read a few things mentioning this, but now cannot find the info.

I should have just bought a Uniden, grrr.
