Monterey ain’t all bad. Lived here when I was in my 20s, Sure has changed and not for the better. Went to SF and visited Lombard and the Haight, wow! Hopefully Carmel by the Sea has maintained its charm? Well for tonight we’ll listen the the waves crash. 7DB258BD-F07A-4820-8138-16E3DC82C361.jpeg3F42D28F-DE00-4EA0-BA15-E2505279523F.jpeg95E37C5D-D4D6-46A8-A962-2B6574D67D63.jpeg

The trip thus far sounds great - let us all know if you find a place that HAS changed for the better - need another vacation destination idea! What do you think of the ECT switch - have you used it? travel safe /Rick

Sinfully comfortable. Did Schnebly Hill, silly comfortable. If you haven’t tried krawl control I’m not sure how to explain it. Kinda made me uneasy with all the creaking? Cruise control for rock crawling is pretty cool though. Beautiful country here in Sedona. Decided to go ahead and stay an extra day here and make it up elsewhere. This cruiser is more than I ever expected to enjoy and probably more than I deserve? Thank you goes out to Rick S_234, amazing build. Subtle looks and gets the job done with ease.

I am so bummed I just now saw your posts... I'm West of Eugene on the coast & would've loved to show you a wee bit of the Oregon coast. Enjoy your new truck & safe travels!

Wow, leaving Albuquerque it’s crazy windy. Storm was coming so we made tracks East. Truck is doing well and with wheeling and all the California, AZ and NM mountains we are averaging 15MPG at 75MPH. Not bad. It should do better in the Florida flatland. Wouldn’t matter, this truck is comfortable.

That is still a lot of $$$ for a used cruiser - would've bought it back 3 times already. That really is good MPG - I never drove it for mileage, but that is very respectable. My handheld Garmin confirmed approximately 2 mph gain at 60 mph on the dial (actual was 62). Looks like you are seeing some beautiful country. Hope you're avoiding the worst of the stormy - you went past Bandon OR. below Florence, they had a 104mph gust yesterday. Travel safe /Rick lovin the minivan...

What an epic adventure. Been clocking many miles trying to beat the weather. Didn’t camp but learned that Hampton Inn is priced competitively and super clean. Will be home tomorrow and drop pictures. Hope everyone had an amazing thanksgiving.
