I'm still laughing over Biden's plan to have charging stations every 50 miles on Interstate roads so it will be a while before I read this link.
why stop....


Technology is changing so fast the nay sayers will look like idiots next year... this post is 4 years old, the EU is already way past this.

Literally unlimited range.

With current technology, the ideal scenario for an EV pickup would be a spare battery in the bed when needed, just like with a drill. Kill the power, unplug from the built in battery, plug in the backup.

For camping trips where you travel to a location with no charger, park for 3-5 days, and drive back, some type of high amp solar charger makes sense also.

Obviously both are cost prohibitive, so a local rental option might be the best plan for the most popular models, unless they could also serve as an at home “standby backup.”

I could see it being popular enough in CA and TX.

We already have them on interstates in MO. Most of the US Highways are covered too.

All this time I thought it was my tax dollars hard at work!
