Central Coast, Twin Rocks Trail on Memorial Day

We had a great time on Memorial day on the Twin Rocks trail about 25 miles out of Santa Maria, Ca. A few of the local guys got together for some trail riding and lunch. The trail follows through the hills and climbs steeply following switchbacks to the top of the ridge. The trail then meanders through the ridges of some beautiful mountains. It then descends down to the creek bed and runs into a locked gate. So you have to return the way you came. We stopped at a beautiful spot for lunch and headed back up the trail. Thanks to Jim,Jeremy,Tom, and Chris for getting together. A special thanks to Jim (pismojim) for pulling my rig back up on the trail when I slipped off and was ready to roll down the canyon. It's time to get a winch. Enjoy

Guy, thanks for heading up this run. Jack and I had a lot of fun. Next time Jim can go first on that one section and pull the rest of us up:arabia:

Chris, Looking forward to another trail in the future.

El Toro, it's about 25 miles out of Santa Maria, off 166. GPS N35 07.68 / W120 06.99 It goes for about 6 miles, plus there are other trails out there. Enjoy
