I will work on the rear axle tomorrow and post pics when I'm done.

Yes I know bigger tires are in order. Once the wife and credit card cool off I will tackle that.

It's lookin good. What tires are you planning on going with and what are your overall plans for the truck?

I am very interested in this. I was on thier site today looking at what I wanted. I am only planning a 2 inch level with an adjustable trackbar. I am still curious how you find the ride after your done.

Nice looking truck by the way. Did you spray the side of the truck with line-x? I have also been planning that at a later date.

Did the rear today. I noticed no real height gain (Carli claims up to 1" of gain depending on cab configuration) but I'm sure the ride will be much improved.

Heres a shot with the factory overloads removed and one with the Carli mini pack installed.

Tape measure says shows no gain in height. I actually may have lost a 1/4 inch.

I'm not sure what tires I'm going to run. I have to first decide if I'm doing just tires or rims also.

Plans for the truck are dependent on funds. Due to where I live, getting off the asphalt is difficult at best. The only time I really get off road is when I hit the National Seashore and I could navigate that with a stock vehicle. The suspension was actually chosen to improve the trucks on road manners more than offroad manners. I would like to add some aftermarket bumpers to the truck. Again, it's mostly for the added on road protection.

I certainly wish I could get off road more but like I said above my location prohibits that. However, my plan is to spend a month or so out west next summer exploring all the great places I see here on EXP.

Carli's level kit has the same front componets as the Starter Kit I installed. I was originally going to do just a level kit and track bar but decided the extra $550 was worth spending to address the rear axle. I also added the Carli/Bilstein steering stabilizer.

As for Line-X I only have it in the truck bed.

The instructions say to reuse only 1 of the spacer's under the stock overload, but you can reuse all of them if you want more height. The new U-Bolts are plenty long enough.
