I have a Caribou/Pelican pannier system that fit on a 2004 GSAdv.
Comes with the frame, rear passenger peg adapter, and extra locking mechanism. One side has a few scratches from a previous owners "zero" mile tipover, but the bag is otherwise perfect. Other side bag is perfect with no scratches.
I was going to keep this system as a backup/"city bag" to my Touratech panniers, but I decided I'm not going to use them. I talked with the guys at Caribou, and you can get frames to fit these to other bikes. I also talked with Touratech, and they said their "pucs" ($65 per side) more than likely would work to fit them to a Touratech frame with some drilling.
These could be used as "regular" Pelican cases for gear even without removing the frame adapter.
