I found that one of the switch blank panels in my Tacoma has a wiring harness connector behind it. If you're familiar with the '05s, you'll know that there are two or three blanks in the lower row of switches to the left of the steering column. On my truck, one of these blanks is holding in place a connector attached to a section of wiring harness, but is not plugged into a switch. I don't have a factory wiring manual or other documentation, and am curious what this is for.
I'm guessing it could be for the clutch start cancel switch in the manual tranny trucks. My truck is an automatic with rear locker, fog lamps and inverter, so I already have those switches in place. Anyone know what this little connector is for? Maybe it's the FTL or cloaking device...
