Campfire container for restricted areas

Sorry to hear that dlh62c. Can you tell me what the filthiest piece was? I have had mine since 2009 and I have to clean out the carry bag periodically but that is only because I use charcoal in it with a dutch oven on occasion.

The clean out of the ash. Even with the bag, it was a filthy peice of kit. Wouldn’t purchase it again.

I use a galvanized oil drain pan from autozone. Cheap, replaceable, and fits in the trasheroo on the back.

If you are worried about a wood fire generating zinc fumes... insignificant to not gonna happen. You'll die from something else long before that gets to you.

If you have a buddy with a CNC plasma cutter, these are awesome. I've made a dozen of these for buddys. I found the drawing on etsy. Uses 1/4" which is heavy buy will last forever. This week I made one out of 3/16", much lighter.

Grill can be customized, arms can be swords, guns, fishing poles, etc.

OH, these are not for sale. You make them. You can put whatever your gig is into the sides. You can buy the file off etsy I think for $20. Then you take to a cnc cutter to cut for you. You will have to supply the art or dxf files for the custom side cuts to the cutter.

In Anza Borrego desert, camp fires have to be in a metal container with a bottom. Looking for creative ideas.

What I want
- something dual purpose
- collapsible would be great, but not required if its very useful as something else
- Low walls

Ideas I've found
- washing machine drum (too big, walls too high)
- turkey pot (pretty good idea, but bulky)
- Wash tub from home depot (galvanized - I've read this is bad on health)
stainless steel washing maching tub with the holes! works great. but most have a small or med. hole in the bottom center. bolt a small plate to that, done! I like the hole though, for ash.

Ah, thanks, I was hoping a product that could just be ordered. Dunno how to even start looking for a "CNC cutter" out in the boonies.
