Cab Roof Box for Ford Super Duty

I have designed a cab roof box that mounts to the rails runners on Ford cabs. I will be using this on a Turtle. The side armor is constructed of aluminum plate that has been anodized. The top rail is also anodized and has a short lip intended to push air up and over camper. Its made to match a lower truck box that houses a hydronic heater I am using.

What is the box made of?

What's the purpose of the side armor?

Box is made from .125 aluminum. The side armor essentially strengthens is and prevents dents from forming.

What brackets are you using for mounting to the roof of the cab?

I will be using four formed angle shapes. The box will ride an inch above top of roof. The angle brackets will be toes in and bolt to area beneath rubber roof runners.
