I built one years ago for our camper.
It provides a 2AWG connection between truck and camper batteries.
Its 100% watertight, and is still in service.

Isnt flush, as the backside clearance simply didnt allow.
But it does what its designed to do.

just an fyi...the renogy solar input on those dcdc chargers will only work w solar panels putting out 20v or less. so check your panels before buying. i went w a 200w AllPowers suitcase panel. 22% efficiency and performs pretty darn good. quite compact too.
