Budget 1990 Ford Econoline Camper Build

Hello everyone!
This is just a thread to share our experience building a 1990 ford Econoline 250 into a camper van, on a budget.
We were bored one Sunday and saw the van posted for $999 on fb marketplace... Needless to say, $750 later and we drove the thing home title in hand.
It definitely needs some work, the transmission slips in all forward gears and the ignition is jacked up from an attempted theft.. but it's for the inline 6 engine and it runs really well!
So far all we've done is begun cleaning it out, and scoured the junkyards for parts.
I've scored a C6 transmission, all the ignition bits and also... A fiberglass high top!!
Only problem was the Hightop in the yard was a wheelchair accessible Hightop... So we had our work cut out for us doing fiberglass patchwork.
Enjoy some photos. Full camper build out to come.

Love it! Whenever I see a raised roof white ford cargo van, I think of the van from E.T. I think you should roll with it, haha
