Bubbler GPS and Spotwalla

My BMW riding Iron Butt Cuz has been using these to create some really nice tracking maps with his Android phone. Unlike SPOT pages, the data is stored indefinitely on Spotwalla.

Being able to embed photos along the track really makes for neat way to share trips.

After playing with the free version, I'm onboard with it. Looks to be a fun way to share trips. Still need to evaluate it more - may drop the tracking on the SPOT, and use this exclusively. The only drawback I see at this point is not having a LKP like SPOT can provide. We'd still have the ability to hit the panic button tho.

https://spotwalla.com/embed.php?id=...0&height=600&scale=on&zoom=default&refresh=no should take you to a test I did this morning. It's setup with a secure zone that doesn't dispay my home location, and I also embedded a photo along the way. Check in was set to 5 minute intervals, and is adjustable. The system can record 1500 points, so at that interval, it should store a full 24 hours +. I have my system set to download via wireless, so it's not real time. If you are on a larger data plan, it will do real time tracking as long as you have service.

I used it on my last trip for the first time. Seven Day Moto Trip over three states.

I set it up for the recent trip and I also set up a trip that ends at the end of 2013 so I can see all the places I went for the year.
