Takes about 3.5 hours to get to that spot...but the are plenty of places that are great in between. Thanks...I can't wait.

The last time I was there, this was the camp spot, right beside the Salmon river. That lake was just up the road.

I'm flattered! I love 'Nests, wish they were still made! Every time I deploy mine, I get half the camping area coming to look and ask about it! Glad to hear others are working to restore these awesome designed units! Now, just get out there and put it to its intended use!!! And post pics!

Pics in use as requested!

Looks awesome! And the steak looks good too!:steak:

Thanks man.

Not a bad spot...peas are from our garden...steak was good too!

Small herd of elk showed up in that meadow below two nights in a row. Camera on the phone has horrible zoom, so I tried shooting through binoculars.

First night was rainy, second was nice and clear.

Cool pic through the binoculars...
Kansas is too flat for beautiful views like that... Enjoy and thanks for sharing!

Hey Christianoffroad... when are we heading out to find ground bumps like those?

I had a 1986 carb'd 460 in the past. Sucker broadcasted heat into the cab and ate gas. I loved the styling though.

Ran across your thread in my efforts to find a new tent for my Wildernest. Your info on RV workshop is invaluable!! Spoke to Sherry and ran into my snag, they need the orginal tent to reproduce a replacement. I bought mine and the previous owner removed and trashed the orginal tent. My question is would you be willing to loan your tent back to RV Workshop for me to have a tent reproduced for my Nest? FYI: I'm in Kansas as well (KC area) you can email me directly at dillongetsemail@yahoo.com
