My son likes "Black Bart" for a name, and while Black Betty has a decent RamJam theme song, I'm going with Bart. I bought it off Mallrat in November (thanks, finally posting as promised )

Lighting....

The lights in the bumper were weak and corroded, I pulled the Vision X floods off my 4runner and bought some 2" crees to replace them. And well since I had room for a full size light bar with the roof rack I went and did that too, as well as rear direction bed light. Here are the befores.....

And the rear bed light...Don't get excited, they were out of normal rocker switches...maybe someday that rear locker switch will be real! I'll switch it out soon.

I'll get some night shots with the lights on soon. Saving for a Tepui ruggedized Kukenam XL at the moment. And some new Nitto Grappler G2's.

Finally had a night where it wasn't snowing, or worse, so here are some night shots of the lighting set up. Probably going to play with the angle of the light bar to get it right.

Thanks Josh, been meaning to email you some pics. We are going to Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and Glacier National Park this summer. And these just showed up today. Substantially more robust than stock.

New SPC/Light Racing UCA and ball joints installed...and fresh alignment.

Tested and re-enforced awning mounts and then repaired canvas....used Bish's Tear Mender and Gear Aid Tenacious Tape patches

At son's request installed new mascot and good luck action figured...."SPOOOOON!"

Rewarded myself for minimal work with this....admit I was swayed by label...

Time for an update! I know of a new mod.

I know! I forgot to take pics when we were in Moab and its been raining darn near every day here...but alas, we had a break for a while this morning. Fast friendly customer service, thanks Adam. More than enough room for my wife, son and I in the Kukenum ruggedized XL. Very excited about the rest of this summer, lots of trips planned.

Replaced the factory stereo with a Jensen touch screen head unit with SXM, Nav, DVD and back up cam. Nice to have bluetooth for my phone and ipad, its amazing how far technology has come in 7 years.
