Awning verses an ez up

We're teardroppers and use both. There's an awning on both sides of the trailer for weather protection and an EZ-Up professional to go over the hatch, again to get out of the weather.
The Pro model has a very substantial build and has stood up to 75 mph winds (staked at the feet and guy lines). I'd put my awnings to bed if I suspected winds like that.
My wife loves the walls on the EZ. More weather protection and some privacy if you're in a campground. But you also don't see the elk or bears coming; that actually has happened...

I use an awning and because it takes LESS than a minute solo to set up it gets used a lot.
Only if you spend a lot of your time in one spot would I consider a popup.
