Okay, I'm bragging a little bit. I have never owned a motorcycle before, and I bought one last weekend. Okay, so it's too small for me buy my kids already love it. I happened across a 2000 kx60 for sale. It hadn't been run for a couple of years and needs a couple of things.
The best part, and the reason I'm bragging about it, I paid $40 for it. Another $50 in parts (gas cap, spark plug, fluids), and we had a running bike. We aired up the tires and my kids rode it until (literally) the tires fell off (okay just the back one, and it just got to a point where it would not hold air anymore). Even if I never fixed the tire, I probably got my $90 worth of enjoyment out of it.
