I spared no-expense building this vehicle, and due to my vehicle ADD, I’ve decided to move onto a sports car and this must go. The concept behind it was the “ultimate” travel machine, built to tackle any terrain thrown at it, while still being comfortable on the highway and returning great fuel economy.

Driven conservatively the vehicle has over 1000 miles of range and could be driven around the world tomorrow without any concerns. All replacement parts used are genuine OEM Toyota, and the best parts in the world for upgrades were imported directly from Australia at great expense.

This vehicle was completely stock in August of last year when it was “mechanically restored” by Land Cruisers Direct (I have receipts), and then modified by Keith’s Garage in Grand Junction (one of the best Land Cruiser mechanics in the country).

Absolutely no expense was spared, with massive amounts of money spent on preventative maintenance. It will do 90MPH on the highway if you ask it, with a conservative amount of boost that has NEVER exceeded 17PSI.

The engine bay is immaculate, as is the underside of the vehicle. Please note that it is a 28 year old 4WD vehicle made to go off-road, it does have the occasional scratch, bump, or bruise, but I consider it to be in great shape for the model year. The interior components that cannot be replaced with new parts do show some wear, but are all clean and functioning. A/C is ice cold.

What mileage do you get on average, daily driving?

I'll respond with my worst fuel economy, which is doing 80+ mph in Utah. In those conditions I see 17-18.

RPM and speed are what kill fuel economy. We saw 25 one tank in Baja, where we were cruising on Mex 1.

Not bad. Nicely prepared rig. I’m planning to sell my Tacoma and would consider a land cruiser like yours but I doubt yours will still be available. It seems to be a really well thought out and executed build.

Too many people wasting your time, or do you just want to hold on to the rig..?

No one was wasting my time, I just don't think I want to sell it.

I'm too far deep into this vehicle financially to let it go right now, I'll just wait a year or two for 80s to appreciate more.
