ARB Awning room owners--help please?

I cannot find an overall height dimension of ARB's awning room on their website. Could some awning room owner please help out and put a tape on one of the walls? My truck is pretty tall 6'-8" to top of roof rack and I'm afraid it may be too tall for the height of the awning room sidewall.

Thnx!

Should be OK. 6' 10" height to the floor (sail strip) of mine when I had it. Loved the idea of a RTT, but difficult to manage set-up and take down at that height so I sold it.

Same here. I wanted a RTT for decades, hate sleeping on ground, (too many very bad bug bites in the tropics) then got one and after 6 weekend trips was fed up with it. Going to try the awning, enclosed room, and dbl cot option.

Thnx

Haha. Funny. I was thinking about the same set up and was also worried my truck was too tall.

Alaskantinbender, One quick question for you:

Your set up works very well, but I have very tight space constraints between the top of my doors and top of roof rack that I have to work within.

The 6'-8" measurement you provided, is that to top or bottom of the continuous mounting rail on the back of the awning? I'm trying to determine the centerline measurement of the mounting rail to ground on your truck.

Thanks again!

Very sorry for the delay. Didnt get an e mail from the post. That was measured to the bottom of the mounting rail. Dont worry to much about it. The awning legs will adjust to the height.

Got awning and tent installed for MOTL last weekend up in northern Maine. Worked great! Only foreseeable issue could be heavy horizontal rain. Gunna seam-seal the heck out of it.

We were up on Round Pond, Maine, (Allagash). 10 hours from Boston. Not unlike Alaska, more moose than people and mosquitos the size of humming birds....

Lol! Is that a Rocky that you take with you camping? I thought MY coffee addiction was bad. Of course, I'm extremely jealous.... :)

Yup, its a Rocky. Toltec Coffee was a sponsor of the Northeast Overland event so we wanted to insure everyone on the trek had our freshly ground coffee in the AM.
